While traversing through the Good News (a) of Jesus Christ (b), we are consistently encouraged, guided and commanded to "stand firm." The reasons for the constant nudging as we journey toward our Crown of Glory are numerous, as our Creator does not wish to lose one soul from entering His Kingdom. Rather, He wants to share eternal fellowship with each one of His creations.
Additionally, we are forewarned of the innumerable distractions, snares and tricks of the Evil One. Just as we are to remain vigilant in our quest to spend forever with our Father in Heaven, the king of liars is equally as persistent in his efforts to steal our soul from its intended destination (1 Peter 5:8) (c/d).
The navigational words of Jesus Himself in Matthew 7:13-14 (e/f) are clear. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
"Only a few find it" (eternal life)….this indicates we must remain vigilant and focused on our personal journey, as many will fall away and not reach the Kingdom. Accordingly, we need to stand firm, during the good times as well as during trials and tribulations (g) that we've been warned about that are sure to come.
Perhaps the contents of this webpage may most accurately be represented by the Book of Jude (h). Although one of the shortest books of the Bible at under 500 words, Jude is chock full of spiritual treasures and rich exhortations to stay the course with Christ.
Another Holy Spirit-filled (j) resource offered is our webpage exhorting the importance of dressing for success with the Armor of God (k). Check it out!
