The word "terminus" can be defined (1) as either end of a transportation line or travel route. Additionally, it can mean the station, town, or city at such a place (terminal); an extreme point or element (tip: the terminus of a glacier); a final goal or finishing point; a post or stone marking a boundary.
The resource pages here at The Marion County Manna Project (2) are not meant to be the "know all to end all" about a topic (3). Rather, we're that "travel route" mentioned above, a spiritual "transportation line" of sorts. Information is provided herein to offer a working knowledge of the respective subject matter and to lay it all out in a palatable fashion, all while keeping our "final goal" or "finishing point" - the Kingdom of God- front and center.
What we offer is not designed to rival theological discourses authored by religious experts/academics. Rather, our goal is to a) prayerfully gather a basic level of applicable biblical resources without wading into varying religious doctrinal waters b) with a discernful approach, import them into a readable & printer friendly document (4) to c) offer in a manner which can be understood and d) freely shared with others (5).
Our desire is to do all these things with and under the unfailing guidance, unswerving grace and unconditional agape love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (6). Amen! -
